As a social worker, I come from a trauma informed lens and focus on strength based approaches to support people to navigate their goals and hopes for change. Isn’t that why we come to therapy in the first place? We feel that something is not working in our life, or we recognize a aspect that we want changed, or we want support in reflecting on what brings us joy. It is a privilege and a gift for me to be able to walk with you, as you reflect and navigate your hopes and needs. I come with curiosity and care, as I hear parts of your story. I move at your pace and am here to focus on a topic or hope for the length of time that you need. Connecting and sharing with someone takes trust and vulnerability. Please feel comfortable booking a free consultation with me, to see if we are compatible and would be a good fit to work together. Thank you!

My Approaches: • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) • Strength-Based Therapy • Trauma-Informed Therapy • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) • Narrative Therapy

My Practice Philosophy: Nurturing Your Whole Self

My framework is deeply shaped by my Master of Social Work in the Indigenous Field of Study at Wilfrid Laurier University. As a settler, I recognize this education as a profound privilege. It gifted me a holistic framework that addresses four interconnected dimensions of wellness:
  • Spiritual (Your Purpose): Exploring your core values and beliefs to build a strong, grounded sense of self.
  • Emotional (Your Connections): Reflecting on your emotional experiences to foster safe, healthy, and reciprocal relationships.
  • Mental (Your Knowledge Systems): Learning to understand how you see the world and what guides your thinking.
  • Physical (Your Action): Managing the practical, daily impacts of stress, anxiety, grief, insomnia, or PCOS through sustainable habits.

The Meaning Behind Goldenrod & Asters

In nature, goldenrod and asters always grow together, blooming at the exact same time in late summer and autumn. Their vibrant yellow and deep purple colors exist in perfect, reciprocal contrast—each flower making the other appear brighter and more beautiful than it could ever be alone.
This beautiful relationship is part of the foundation of my practice. Healing does not happen in isolation. Goldenrod & Asters represents the reciprocal connection we build in therapy: a partnership where your unique lived experiences and my professional guidance meet to help you bloom, navigate change, and reclaim your joy.
